Birds of prey, from the small and humble Kestrel to the majestic and emblematic Eagle, are animals that evoke the imagination: trying to catch the eye of a hunter, the religion of the masters of the skies is a challenge!

Painting this series was very interesting and excellent training; the defining lines, to capture the natural -- and at the same time statuesque -- position of these noble flying animals helped me to work lineart and paint on many, many layers.
